Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK) draws upon the rich heritage and ethos of Malvern College UK, a co-educational day and boarding school founded in 1865. MCHK, an IB candidate school, is following in its parent school’s footsteps by implementing a globally accepted and well-established curriculum for its culturally diverse pupil body. The school opened its doors in August 2018 and will ultimately provide around 1200 places for both Primary and Secondary pupils. Small class sizes give teachers the chance to engage personally and differentiate according to aptitude, ability and skill set within lessons. Dedicated tutor-time and a genuine concern for the individual are additional key features, and the school’s strong pastoral care system is built around an active house system. MCHK pupils can continue their educational journey at The Downs Malvern from Year 7 and Malvern College UK from Year 9, subject to fulfilling the relevant entry requirements.
